As was the case with Skreen, video games played a significant role in one of my projects. However, this particular project had an element that was just as important, which was collaboration. The initial idea for this project was to create a mock PS2 cover using one of the photos I took during my travels as a background image.

However, I felt like something was missing, which lead me to contact Omar AlNakib to come together and create something even better than I initially had in mind. Enter Zahf No Boken, a custom game cover designed based off of cover art from our favorite games as well as the poses my friends made while photographing them. Omar took those photos and ended up designing a cover which was both exuberant and unconventional. This collaboration with Omar was an absolute joy and proved that, as the saying goes, “if you want to go far, go together.”
